Mr. Thant Zaw Myint

Thant Zaw Myint is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry. Prior to joining BNK Capital Myanmar, he dedicated 16 years to uab bank, one of Myanmar’s leading private banks, where he held various key positions and developed a profound expertise in internal auditing, financial controls, and risk management.

He holds a Bachelor of Development Studies (B.Dev.S) from the Yangon Institute of Economics and a Diploma in Financial Management. With his strong academic background and nearly two decades of practical experience, Mr. Thant Zaw Myint currently leads the Internal Audit Department at BNK Capital Myanmar. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring organizational compliance, strengthening internal controls, and overseeing the company’s audit strategies to safeguard its financial integrity.
